![]() I am watching as new stuff gets added and improvements made and will probably buy another year of free updates later once it has progressed more. I have Photo AI 1.4.3 which was the last release before my one year free update period ended. These multiple functions combined in one program (masking for Sharpen also included) means it naturally takes longer than the older, individual, more or less single function programs. That also means that before the processing of the image starts the Autopilot runs to analyze the photo. Topaz Photo AI combines 3 main functions into one AI program: Sharpen, Denoise, Resizing (similar to the Topaz products Denoise AI, Sharpen AI, and Gigapixel AI). Topaz Denoise AI, Topaz Sharpen AI, and Adobe Denoise AI mostly do just their one function. Just as a clarification for people who may not know. ![]() They also want it to add more formats like TIFF and Jpeg. Adobe said they will be looking into speeding Adobe Denoise AI and possibly finding a way around needing a DNG. Both Topaz DeNoise AI and Sharpen AI take about 13 seconds. So Topaz AI 45s, Topaz Sharpen AI 13s Adobe 40s (that just Denoise?) I got 8GB for my card (iMac) in 2019 because I knew more was coming. Adobe Denoise AI eats VRAM so the video card is key.
